The Center for Evergreen Energy is a national center linking global research, business and policy issues to improve products, processes, environmental acceptance and public adoption of sustainable energy solutions.
The Center for Evergreen Energy objectives:
1. To create opportunities for sustainable energy stakeholders to meet with one another to produce and exchange innovative research, industry analyses, and joint projects
2. To provide access to rigorous, independent research, analysis and expertise
3. To coordinate the strategic development of sustainable biofuel solutions.
The Center for Evergreen Energy accomplishes these objectives through collaborative investigation, strategic planning, policy leadership, widespread external reporting, and education. It is grounded in the principles of independence, rigor, practicality, transparency, and inclusiveness.
The Center for Evergreen Energy was organized by a diverse consortium of St. Louis BioBelt public and private institutions to provide market-driven solutions for biofuel production through targeted research and proactive leadership.
