Fleishman-Hillard Inc.
In 1946, Alfred Fleishman and Robert Hillard started a public relations business in a small, rented office above a midtown St. Louis dime store. More than six decades later, St. Louis is still home to Fleishman-Hillard International Communications – one of the world's leading public relations firms. The agency has built its reputation by using strategic communications to deliver what its clients value most: meaningful, positive, and measurable impact on the performance of their organizations. Fleishman-Hillard is widely recognized for excellent client service and a strong company culture founded on teamwork, integrity, and personal commitment.
With more than 80 offices worldwide, the firm serves clients across six continents. But it maintains deep roots in the St. Louis region. Located in the heart of Downtown, its world headquarters office employees provide service across a broad communications practice: branding, corporate communications, consumer and business-to-business marketing, public affairs, internal communications, healthcare, investor relations, research, sports business, technology, creative services, and digital communications. The firms’ client base includes St. Louis-based companies and organizations such as Brown Shoe Company Inc., AmerenUE, Emerson, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association.
Fleishman-Hillard also has a longstanding tradition of involvement in the St. Louis community. The firm provides nearly $3 million a year in pro bono support for a wide range of organizations and causes. In addition, its employees serve on the boards of more than 40 local non-profit organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, the United Way of Greater St. Louis, Forest Park Forever, and the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis.
